Changed my wooting back to the original case and put some b-stock MW Heresy keycaps I picked up from novelkeys…not the best looking keycaps but for 20$ I can’t complain, goes well with my obsession of red.

Rebuilt my Mode65 last night on stream - stabs were prepped by @d3L7r0n when he desoldered the board for me and I went with lubed Tofu switches that I prepped myself. Config is a white case with the silver mirror backpiece and bottom and topped with GMK Space Cadet II.

My first new build in quite some time! I had two GB orders I was waiting on, the MKC75 and GMK Nimbus, and they both arrived within the past two weeks. Nothing is quite as intoxicating as peeling the plastic wrap off of a PVD polished weight and staring at it, hypnotized, for at least 10 minutes!
For the price, the MKC75 is definitely one of the best values on the market for a 75%. It’s very impressive how much is packed into such an inexpensive package and the quality of everything leaves no room for complaint. There are a few things I would like to see changed or improved upon if there are future iterations, but it’s a great keyboard overall.

- Tecsee Carrots swapped to 62g TX Long springs and lubed
- Tuned MKC screw-in stabs (included with the MKC75)

The first word that came to mind seeing this was “clean”. Love the look. And the black escape and enter key for reason tie it all in so well. Nice build.

Mintlodica Witch Girl Keycaps, Aqua King V2 switches - cannibalized from a build I was no longer using - on an AULA F98. The board (minus the stock switches - worst tactiles ever - and keycaps) is a pretty solid board. Wanted the Zoom98 but it was too rich for my blood at the time.

The Zoom98 is on my list too, though I think I’m going with the QK100 instead. I think it is a better overall board for the price and you can actually pick it up.

With how pretty this setup is, it almost seems illegal to actually use it! I really like the subtle pop of color the accented keycaps give against the whole color palate. Thing of beauty. Very nice work.

Ordered through keebsforall. Likely the reason for the delay.
Yeah, have fun with that. KFA has been progressively worse in shipping and communication, it’s one of the main reasons I’ve stopped ordering anything from them. Heard a lot of stories of people not getting orders, orders being lost and them refusing to refund, etc. and then having the order just randomly show up down the line.
Haha! I appreciate the insight. Live and learn. Looks like I get to play the guessing game in the hopes that is shows up sometime in the next month or so.

For what it’s worth, this is the fulfillment progress from Qwertykeys themselves; generally, at this point, if a vendor offers to sell internationally from them and the US proxy is KFA, I buy from the actual vendor and not the proxy. Other proxies are fine, but just avoid KFA.
Edit: if you are in the KFA Discord, they might have an update. I’d offer to check, but I left that Discord sometime back when I made the decision not to order from them anymore.
