Ya ordered it the night of its release from Qwerty just haven’t gotten around to posting a pic
- QwertyKeys QK100 (PC plate)
- Glorious GPBT Northern Lights keycaps
- Akko Penguin switches
- Qwlstab V2
Most silent build I have ever done. Only noise you really hear are with the space bar and the stabs. Switches are silent for sure!
Built a DR-70F this morning. Really enjoyed the modularity of the whole board as this can be left of right set without needing a new top plate.
GMK Evil Dolch
Invokeys Black Sesame switches
Took advantage of Black Friday sale to build my boss her requested “Pink” keyboard.
- GMMK2 96%
- AKKO Penguin switches (silent for work)
- CannonKeys NicePBT Strawberry Milk keycaps
Those pair really well! Great looking board!
It’s good to be back on the forum!! Here are some builds since the forum went dark

So since the wife and I moved last year I’ve been nickel and diming on a basement office and finally got things comfortable enough that I could start working on some keyboards again.
I picked up a Keychron V1 a little ways back when I saw it on sale and then had an idea recently to attempt a vintage Nintendo console build. I think I got pretty close.
Board: Keychron V1
Switches: GAZZEW Boba Black U4 V2 Silent Tactiles
Keycaps: Womier Double Shot PBT Gorpcore Style Cherry Profile
Spacebar: Retro Spacebar Classic Controller Shape (Type-B Black)
Artisan ESC: Gameboy Artisan I got off of DROP years ago, but I think the maker is on a site called NUPHY now.
This looks awesome! Definitely nailed the vintage nintendo brief
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted here, so why not. I recently rebuilt my Bolsalice to be plateless, which is most definitely not something it was meant to be built as.
The inconsistent underglow is due to the foam that I found and threw in there to help hold the PCB in place, as dropping the plate meant not having the normal plate gaskets to sandwich between. I did find some gasket jackets lying around that I did use on the PCB to help and that combined with the foam does keep the PCB from moving at all; honestly, I can probably remove the bottom foam with the gasket jackets being used.
I love how this sounds and feels to use, and it’ll be the daily driver for awhile.
Build:
- PC Bolsalice
- Stock Strawberry Shortcake switches
- Knight stabs
- plateless
- GMK Oblivion Git Base
- GMK Oblivion Git Sprinkle Artisan by Salvun
