Yeah, I’m glad I picked it up for this build, looks really nice in person. Now I just need to go find where somewhere linked the file to make it work in VIA, because I really can’t bring myself to mess with QMK right now.

Updated picture of my GMMK 2 now that I put the GMK Red Samurai Keycaps and the Gilded Keycap on the GMMK Pro
I put the whole Outer Space Themed Keycaps on it. I am liking how it’s looking. Might switch the Glorious Novelty Keycap to where the Black Planet Keycap is and vise versa though

Work has begun on my Smith+Rune Iron165!
Just mocking things up and looking at the gradient on the keycaps to so how well they go with the board.
Also, trying to figure out which novelty cap (or caps) to go with.
PCB still needs to be Mill-Max’d and there is a polished silver weight and badge en route.
Also, they sent an aluminum plate, so I need to see about picking up either the CF or FR4 one…

I would like to show off my brand new trashy keyboard with an unbalanced guilded keycap. My razer keyboard’s home row stopped working and have tried everything to get it working but it will not work. I’m not sure if this is an upgrade or a downgrade.
Case : Acer
Switches : Membrane
Keycaps : Flat acer keycaps
Mods : None
Stabs : HORRIBLE

Hey you gotta do what you gotta do, I’m sure most of the community along with me started on a Keyboard similar to this or like a Razer, so we feel ya. You will get there one of these day’s soon and bonus you already have a Gilded Keycap to slap onto your first ever Mechanical Keyboard when the time comes so that is pretty cool. The Gilded Keycap looks good on anything though even if it is unbalanced and on a tilt.
