Yup I heard about Northstar but I’m not really into multiplayer fps games atm so I didn’t try it out

Another vote for the amazing series Mass Effect and The Witcher.

Glad to hear a few others call them out too.

@drhansen2015 I have been playing the Switcher 3 for a while on and off. Great game. Obviously looks the best on PC, but the fact that the switch can run it as well as it does is really mind blowing

And welcome to the forum!

The Witcher 3 is one of my favorite all-time games! But, I can’t even imagine playing it on a tiny screen, hahaha. More power to you. :joy:

I love that you called it the switcher 3

I find with kids and a wife who is not terribly fond of video games, it’s easier to drop in here and there on the switch then to not play it at all. It’s not for everyone, but the portability increases it’s accessibility for me greatly.

Been thinking about getting into that! What brings it home for you @DrCowiber?

the amount of content, and the redo-ability of it are the highest points imo. It takes a while to learn the game, and get to the point of launching the rocket. after that, its repeat and streamline factories and designs. I also like games that make me pull out a calculator lol

There is also a mod browser in it… which has mods that are essentially remakes of the game, or expansions that allow you to do space travel.

Awesome! Thanks for that

i voted for cod just purely for nostalgia. i grew up with cod 2, mw was amazing for it’s time, and black ops was my favorite out of the series. now i don’t even play cod, haven’t picked it up seriously since black ops 3. warzone is not it for me.
i could have easily picked halo based on nostalgia too. playing the original, split screen against my brothers and cousins, then halo 2 multiplayer. but i haven’t touched halo infinite.

both series were big parts of my childhood, but i never got into the current games. and i picked cod over halo because i have more time spent on cod, grinding to prestige.

I should say Overwatch considering the over 4k hours I’ve sunk into.

But you tell me I only get one game franchise for the rest of time and it’s gotta be Monster Hunter. Huge fan of all the games, I reallllllly enjoyed world, finally getting around to starting Sunbreak this weekend

Late to the party, but I gotta go with Pokemon as a franchise. The games can be mid at times, but the franchise as a whole has its furry little hooks in me for life.
