Dude that is cold. It’s a bummer when that happens.
Dang, we’re going all the way back to installing games from floppy disks. Original Warcraft, Command and Conquer, Dune, Duke Nukem, Blackthorn, OG Tombraider. Sometimes I forget how long i’ve been gaming.
Above all, I miss Arcades, Pac Man, so many fighting games, Galaga, Donkey Kong, TRON.
The Gamers Club is so large, and awesome!

Command and Conquer. I dumped a lot of hours into those. I was NEVER good, but I had a lot of fun playing them.

I was only good against the AI. Never a threat to human players.

Same. For some reason I really liked RTS games back then but also was never any good at them. Age of Empires was another big one for me.

Literally the only place I’ve ever seen one of these controllers in person was in a museum. MSI in Chicago had a travelling exhibit at one point about the history of video games. They had Steel Battalion set up and running and you could try to play it, but there were no instructions provided so “try” was as far as I saw anybody get.

Oh man. I remember my friend and I wanted to play that game SO BAD. But being like 15 at the time, we couldn’t afford it lol.
