I rebuilt my NK87 EE using NK Silk Yellows and NK’s DSA Milkshake keycaps, and I cleaned up my holee-modded Durock V2 stabs. The Silk Yellows respond excellently to some 205g0 and Deskeys films, I wish I had the time/patience to do all of them but for now will settle for just the spacebar switch. The LEDs are set to yellow but my phone couldn’t quite pick up on that - I wish phones were better at taking close-up pictures, they always have meh color accuracy and noticeable fringing. Maybe a real camera should go onto the wishlist…

It’s a weird mnemonic, but the way that I remember the z row is by their typical Ctrl modifiers:
- Undo (Z),
- Cut (X),
- Copy (C),
- Paste (V),
- Bold (B),
- New (N), and
- Carriage return (^M).

Just completed my first ever build with a GMMK 2. Nothing crazy fancy but I’m really happy with the results. I did have to download the software and program it on my boyfriend’s computer since my high security work computer wouldn’t let me download it but its done. I got the Durock lavender switches as well as the CK x Wuque lavender stabs. I had to do some mild filing to get the stabs to fit but it was super worth it. I also did the tape and foam mods to maximize the thock. I am NOT disappointed! I don’t game but I DO type a ton for work so having a FUN keyboard is about to change my life! I almost don’t want to stop typing this comment because I’m loving the sound and feel so much! And the fun lighting effects are a nice bonus!

I stopped using my board with Aluvia because I couldn’t bring myself to possibly ruin them. I don’t mind shining GMK, but I find these to be perfect decor caps.
