Yassss I saw that as well congrats
@LiquidMaverick @BoomerFingers
This is awesome! I am excited to take it for a spin. You know Iāll let you now how I like it
Thanks @tecmo34 and @jzaine7! I was floored when I found out I won! Iām really excited to give it a whirl when it arrives. If I love it as much as my Model O Pro from the forge I am going to have a hard time figuring out which one I will use. I do so love the color from the forge. Itās beautiful.
question will after market skates for the O work on the O2 pro
@Bearenby would you have some information on this?
@cgordon4198 @LiquidMaverick I can tell you that our Glorious G-Skates for the Model O work with the Model O 2 PRO. Iām not sure about skates any other brands make though.
I received my D 2 Pro Model yesterday. I am happy to report that the one I got is awesome. Iāve been running it at the 4000 khz polling rate and it has been the most responsive mouse I have experienced up to this point. So much so, in fact, that I am having to adjust to it but I am sure that it will not take me long.
Itās hard for me to wrap my brain around this. My perception of my mouse responsiveness feel instant. I canāt wait to experience this thing first hand. Right hand specificallyā¦
@ Me when you get it! Iām really interested to hear how you like it!
@Bearenby I received my O2 pro on Friday and have been play a lot with it! I really enjoy the shape and the 4k pull rate feels nice! I am also very impressed with the optical switches they sound and feel incredible! The only issue I have had is occasionally it will just disconnect and I have to turn it on and off but I saw on twitter/X that freshreviews and glorious team has been coming out with a path to fix this, is there a time frame for that by any chance
We just released that patch on Saturday! Try updating your CORE and get back to me if the issue is not fixed for you!
Stop saying that those mouse are ambidextrous, they are NOT !
Thumb buttons are only on the left side for right handed people !
Did you fix the issues with the wireless mouse not shutting down when shutting down the computer ? I have a Model O2 Wireless and I have to manually turn it off every day otherwise it will discharge itself every night even if the LEDs are offā¦
Thanks
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Really feeling the passion from the part in all caps, love to see it.
āAmbidextrousā is the standard vocabulary used to describe symmetrical mouse shape, these days. Itās kind of like the word āliterallyā sometimes the meaning of a word can evolve. We want to make sure that people are able to find our products online so weāll continue using industry standard terms.
If youāre having issues with any of your Glorious Products, you can always reach out to our support team for help! Iād recommend updating your firmware. If youāre still having issues with your O 2 after that, our team would be happy to help! You can reach them here.
Thanks for the fast reply. I understand that the meaning of the word can evolve, but is symmetrical is a more accurate representation of the product why not use that word instead ? I also think that you should consider making a true ambidextrous mouse. I have a lot of people asking me for recommendation for a left handed mouse but I keep finding the Glourious mice in all the search result because it is heavily branded as ambidextrous when it is not what Iām looking for. The people looking for an ambidextrous mouse are actually looking for a left handed mouse or at least a mouse that can be used on both side. Having the thumb buttons only on one side do not fulfill that criteria.
As for the battery life issues, Iāve already updated my firmware and reached out to the support and the issue is still present, they told me I should turn the mouse off manually when I shutdown the computer. That switch under the mouse does not feel great and probably wonāt last that long if I always turn it on and off. Also, the logitech mouse can last months on a single charge without ever being turned off. I donāt get why a premium product like the Glorious mouse canāt do the same. To me this should be a fairly simple firmware update to make. If the mouse did not move for 5 minute, turn it off until a click is made or something. This way it wonāt constantly discharge itself.
I seem to have written a review but in the wrong spot, so Iāll put a link to my intial thoughts here:
Personally, I donāt disagree with you about the terminology. Itās just important that our products use the same terms that people are accustomed to hearing and searching for when shopping for a new mouse.
Thank you for your suggestion! Making mice for different hand shapes and grip styles is really important for us. Thatās why we offer O, D, and minus versions. We are open to making a true ambidextrous mouse but donāt have plans for one right now.
So glad you like your new mouse!
I have the one for my Lenovo, the best ever choice for online jobs. Must give a try to it
