I don’t think the GMMK2 natively supports layers.

Changing the function layer

I’ve been meaning to ask this for a long time, but on the GMMK 2 and/or GMMK Pro, how do I change the function layer keys? For example, I’d like to change FN + Up Arrow to volume up rather than the brightness setting it is now. There’s a layering function in Core, but it doesn’t seem to do what I think is traditional considered to be how layers work. I really like both of my Glorious keyboards, but the inability to change this has prevented me from using them.
