Wow nice
Well stated.
I agree @LiquidMaverick thereās definitely some frustration, but itās a result of something new. As the Forge lives inside the larger Glorious ecosystem it will take time for consumers to adapt and separate the two.
Thereās still an opportunity for these products to be vetted by big trusted reviewers. The idea that a product launches with no testing or prototyping just doesnāt make sense.
People will adapt, or Glorious will, or there will be some common ground to meet.
I love Glorious products and am definitely not trying to be negative. Quite the opposite, their success guarantees more quality products, but as a life long gamer, Iāll always be prosumer.
I do agree that an open dialog is huge, and a contributing factor in my presence here. This forum and this company seems filled with positivity and a shared love for PC gaming. I donāt know of any other company in this space that has so much direct involvement with their consumers and fans.
Always be Glorious
What about interest checks as a means to let people know generally the direction of new forge releases?
oooo good idea!
One thing that I always enjoy about discussion within the forum is, the Guild has managed to maintain a degree of positivity while Iāve been here. Very rarely do we have topics that become too heated or individuals that cause too much of an uproar. At the end of the day, I believe we all want to see Glorious succeed and improve.
That being said, it is also on us to bring up concerns when they arise. As weāve seen and a few have pointed out, we have a direct means of communication with Glorious via the Guild. The feedback we provide here will most likely help shape the way the Forge develops and grows over time.
It appears to be wireless.
If so, thatās an interesting diff from the usual MO. They always seemingly release a wired mouse first then wireless (looking at you, Model Iā¦ WHY COULDNāT YOU BE WIRELESS???)
wish i would have know this before i ordered the model O Pro
yeah, i agree. they should roll the products out either separated by months or at the same time
dammit I just bought a model o minus I wish I knew this was coming out I would have held out Ive been waiting for a new small mouse from glorious for a while. Oh well, Ilāl break it eventually. curse of a MOBA player.

I think thereās a lot of really good points in this thread about the forge releases. While I donāt necessarily mind the speed of the forge releases, I do agree that releasing forge products with so little information, does make it difficult as a consumer to make an informed buying decision.
Someone mentioned interest checks, which actually make alot of sense, however, it seems to me like part of the goal with Glorious Forge is to release surprise product drops on us, and interest checks would unfortunately would take the surprise element out of the equation.
My suggestion would be to not necessarily slow down the timing between releases, but slow down the time between product inception and release date. As you build a pipeline of products then by all means release away while always keeping new products in the pipeline.
Additionally, while products are in the āpipeline phaseā, Maybe make prototypes and send them out to the Glorious Council members for testing and feedback, having us sign NDAās of course to keep the surprise element of launches. (Similar to how you did with the GSV2 stabs which obviously was a successful launch) This seems like it would be a great way to guage interest and make tweaks before launch, as well as a better way to utilize the Glorious council which TBH has been prettydormant since itās launch.
All very good points.
