Using Model I 2 wireless

Just got my Model I 2, and when it’s wired it works great and as anticipated. In wireless mode the performance is pretty abysmal. Frequent stutters or lag. Sometimes it’ll feel like the cursor is trying to slide through molasses. I’ve tried factory resetting, reinstalling the firmware updates, clean Glorious Core install, the works. I really want to like the mouse as it feels great but in the current state it isn’t exactly usable, and I bought it specifically to be a wireless mouse.

Hey @cjmurphy8 welcome to the Guild! I would reach out to Support they are amazing.

I have emailed support, messaged on X and also posted here. No response as of yet. I purchased 2 of these bc i love the design, but i feel like ill be returning them soon. Unfortunately

It looks like they did respond to the support ticket you submitted, but if there’s any additional info you need please let me know and I’d be happy to help!

Too many possible points of failure including the mouse itself but I would at least plug in the USB receiver as close as possible to the mouse and even better in direct line of sight (use a USB extension cable to bring it to the desktop in direct line of sight to the mouse). Additionally, (and don’t ask about the scientific proof behind it) use the highest speed USB port you have available such as USB 3 for example. And lastly, update all usb drivers and the mouse firmware from Glorious Core app.

Good luck.
