Love the style and color combo!!
Just finished! Pixelspace Endless-80:
KBDFans Dyboox Stabilizers
OSA Marks Green PBT keycaps
Glorious Lynx switches lubed and springs swapped with Sprit 72m2 Multi-Stage Springs
Just wrapped up my Masters of the Universe build. Fell in love with the Skeletor keycaps a ways back (this is all your fault @BIG) and had been waiting for the right board to piece it together.
Board is a NK65 Entry Edition (blumen) with relubed stock stabilizers. I opted to leave the internals alone for now to see how the board sounds. I picked up a set of the GMK Skeletor keycaps off of Originative Co and some Gazzew Boba U4 tactiles off of ShopMech.
All in all, I’m really happy with the end result. The only part thats bugging me is the switches were factory lubed, and they sound a little scratchy. Its most likely going to eat at me until I pull them apart and hand lube them.
The reason I decided to use the NK65 Blumen for this particular build was due to a unique feature, that I felt took the Skeletor theme up a notch.
90s GLOW IN THE DARK TECH BABY!
That looks amazing
Love the crayon caps! Looks great
Thanks! Been looking for a reason to buy them
KBD67 mkii laser, brass plate, lubed nk cream launch edition switches, lubed pink durock v2 stabs, and gmk laser keycaps.
Easily my favorite looking keyboard I’ve ever built especially in the daytime when they light hits it …fingerprint magnet but it came with a nice cloth. Probably gonna be my main for a while unless glorious drops that gmmk 65%
That…is actually really nice, I really like the look of that case. Fingerprint magnet reminds me of my Mode65 with that silver mirrored back plate and bottom; gosh darn fingerprint magnets. I might have to look into getting one of these now.
Ya when I saw the case I had to have it …ya I need a mode65 those are nice.
Love this build - that case is stunning
@8-Bit_Bootcamp I love your color color design.
Oh thanks! Ive always really liked that vaporwave aesthetic, so I use purple, pink, light blue, and teal in a lot of my builds and RGB profiles.
Started putting together a new keyboard at work cuz it’s a slow Friday. Akko silver switches feel kinda nice.
@jzaine7 Its looking good! How are you liking those Akko silver switches? I just got their Matcha Green switches.
Oh, thats going to look nice when its done. Cant wait to see the RGB on that after you finish it.
I finished a build myself, the Keychron Q2.
OEM PBT from Keychron, Q2 FR4 plate and Glorious panda switches. I did replace the case foam on this as its super thin and went with a little thicker foam. A little less flex now but sounds a lot better.
Not gonna lie hyperx pudding keycaps feel like lol…the Akko switches feel really smooth
Are their silver switches kinda like those fast switches?
