The sound is fantastic. You did an excellent job’.
They really do! The price and value proposition on them is ridiculous.
Does anyone have any midrange budget tactile switch reccomendation? I wanna get some nice linear and spring swap them with double stage springs
Thermingoat does some really comprehensive reviews of all sorts of switches. I’m sure you cant go wrong with any of his recommendations in the price range you are looking for
gorgeous!! those keycaps make it pop!
After spending your Saturday night plopping quarters into the cabinets, you spot a blue glow coming from the corner. “Hmm that’s new” you think to yourself. “Nobodys playing it either.” You approach the machine and slip a quarter in. The name Polybius appears on the screen. “Interesting.” After spending the last of your quarters trying to beat the high score, you realize the arcade is closed. “Woh, where did the time go?” As you make your way to the exit, you notice three ominous men wearing black suits waiting for you…
Very nice @ice and the GMK Polybius Keycaps look great on it! Also, the deskmat matches with it so well
Sadly most of it is covered up once it’s on the desk, I took my Air pad off so I can at least get a glimpse of it.
Also, the little Halloween story that went along with the pictures was great!!
Love those Polybius keycaps!!!
Thank you! I’m not used to writing fiction so much appreciated lol. There actually are three suits waiting at the exit on the desk mat and the box, so I had to put a spin on it.
Yeah, I almost bought that deskmat
That is pretty. I’m so tempted by an Alice style layout.
Thank you I picked it up for about $70, so definitely worth it but not a style I would buy again just because I rather do a new layout. Plan on completing an ortholinear build by the end of the year
Beautiful
i really like that XLR you have, thats about the only kind of item that i dont have anything of lol
Gota power those speakers and subs some how. Had a spare 1250 watt atx PSU and made a bench supply out of it. 13.5v 109amps on the 12v also has 25amps each on the 5v and 3.3v , if ou guys need to do this sometime, a good tip is try for a modular supply. Only get the wires you need and want to use
works great!!! celebrating my birthday this wkend in true nerd style i know this looks like fun to at least 1 or 2 of you all
the Yellow is thew 12v, Red is the 5v and orange is your 3.3v and of course alot of ground wires
i guess i should put up what its powering lol
Yah ill take better pics when i get it all setup like i want it. im also working on my numpad and replacing the pcb.
I’d also warn about anyone modifying a PSU without explicitly knowing what you’re doing. Can be a very dangerous process.
yes Pseudo is very correct, Im a engineer or i wouldnt have attempted it. sorry i didnt make that more clear.
