Hmm looks really cool but $130 is just too expensive IMO. If it were $100 I would totally pick it up. That slider looks awesome!

They did mention pre-orders within their Instagram post. I’m guessing that means it’ll be a normal item but they have used pre-order terminology for Forge releases as well.
Given that it is a “companion” to the GMMK Pro, I’ve got to assume that it’ll be a normal release.
Also, being wireless seals the deal for me. I don’t really enjoy using numpads, but I love having a Streamdeck on my desk for editing and streaming (of which I really need to do more of).
I like my Streamdeck, but I was really falling in love with the look of Razer’s new stream controller thing. A combination of tactile and digital buttons just really makes me happy for some reason. Having it off my desk mat, “above” my placement of my keyboard/mouse makes it essential.
But this being wireless is just game over for me. I can keep it on my left side, which being left-handed is pretty huge. I can also just store it in the normal place I keep my Streamdeck when not in use. Plus being able to just plug in my keyboard cable when I need to charge it is pretty huge.

Now that it is revealed, I am piggy backing off my original post, my preorder will be 1 of each color and some accessories! I knew this was going to be worth the wait!

Really would want this but the price point is just $5 away from import duty into the UK and I got slammed when getting the GMMK Pro as I didn’t realise then.
As mine is in Aqua Blue I’d need a top plate, key, rotary knob, slider etc and it’s just too much for another import duty hit.
I’ll just have to wait until probably Black Friday next year to be able to import it with out any import duty.
Great idea but I can wait.

Wireless is a huge win on this, but I think let’s also take a second to appreciate:
- QMK compatible
- They are offering an alternate PCB so that you can have north-facing (default) switches OR south-facing switches. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that on a keyboard, maybe they can start doing that on the keyboards, too, huh?

looks like I’m out another $130 and whatever it will cost to get caps, rotary knob, and slider to match my GMMK PRO. Hopefully, we can get different baseplates too.

Item looks pretty amazing! I would be curious what this thing looks like butted up against the Pro and the GMMK2. Curious how the side profiles line up along with angle.

Yes! I love them offering north and south facing PCBs and I would love it to be offered on more keyboards. Would be great to be able to swap for when using shine through keycaps or cherry profile keycaps
