Model O Wireless Firmware update javascript error

My Model O Wireless, bought today said it needed a FW update.

When trying to run it, it starts to disconnect/connect a couple of times before i get a Javascript error.

I have now tried 3 different computers, including a laptop which have a fresh Windows Install.

I have tried running it in admin mode.

I have tried different cables, tried the cable that came with the mouse, tried the USB-C “hub” that comes in the box, but no matter what, the update stops and i get this error message.

Then it switches between saying the mouse have firmware 0.3.8.0 and need an update, to suddenly sometimes it says 0.3.8.1 and firmware is up to date, until next reboot its back to 0.3.8.0

I thought Armory Crate and Swarm II for my other mouses was bad, but this Glorious Core takes it to another level if frustration.

I have also tried Legacy Glorious Core, and there it switches between 0.3.8.0 and 0.3.8.1 jsut by unplug/plug in the USB cable.

What do i do to update the firmware??

Hey all, I was stuck with this exact issue, after hours of searching, reading, and more hours trying suggested remedies with no success. I eventually messaged support, they were prompt to reply and very supportive. They provided a solution where I was able to update my mouse and dongle through a standalone update, provided via the dev team. Highly recommended to whoever else gets the above error, I wish I had done it sooner to save time/frustration.
Hope this helps.

Have a Glorious day:sweat_smile::grin:

Where did you contact them? Any link/email?

I have managed to update the mouse now, but it still prompt for an update now and then.

My Model D Wireless does not do this, only my Model O Wireless.

Is this a false notification only on Model O?
