Model O usb device not recognized

I own the Glorious Model o wired for several years. Sometimes when I turn on the pc I get the USB device not recognized error and the mouse is not powered. I noticed that several times since I moved to my new platform (Asrock Nova and Intel 14600k).

Any recommendations?

Welcome to the forum!

Do you have fast boot enabled in the BIOS? Fast boot skips loading USB drivers until the OS has loaded to decrease boot times, so maybe disabling fast boot to make the USB drivers load first will help.

Also, if you haven’t heard of the stability issues caused by oxidization and bad voltages with 13th and 14th gen CPUs, it’s definitely a topic worth learning more about. There should be a new microcode patch available to help with the voltage problem. Just throught I’d mention it.

ASRock’s Ultra Fast boot is disabled in the BIOS and I really do not see how the voltage/oxidation problem is relevant to what I am asking.

Many people are unaware of what is going on, so I mentioned it just in case you didn’t know.

I suggest reaching out to Glorious Support for help troubleshooting your issue, we aren’t a help forum. I hope you can get your mouse working again!

I know about the problem. Do you think there’s a chance it is related? I personally do not think so because the system works fine.
