Model I 2 Wireless reset config after every PC restart

Hi,

lately i bought the Model I 2 Wireless and i like, but there is some software issue.

1- i set up the RGB lighting to be as dim as possible when my mouse is not wired to save battery.

but the problem everytime when i restart my computer and turn on the mouse, the LED are DIM which is OK, but once the PC finish booting and the CORE software is launched, the LED become bright automatically.

when i go inside the CORE software, the lighting are intact and are the same as what i set up last time. i have to click on save button and the LED go DIM again without changing anything in the software.

It’s annoying because i need to do it after every bootup and if i forgot the battery will drain very quickly.

did anyone encounter this issue ?

2- i use my mouse as wireless with 2.4GHZ and everytime i turn off my computer, the mouse/LED didn’t turn off even after one hour, and i have to switch it off manually using the switch in the bottom. is it normal ? is the mouse supposed to turn off autmotically after a certain time if it didn’t receive any signal from the USB transreceiver ?

thanks,

Support had me go back to Core 1.0 with the Model I 2 Wireless. Core 2.1+ didn’t work at all.

I sent it back this week after less than a month of ownership. Here’s why:

Massive battery drain issues, even with RGB off in wireless mode using the 2.4Ghz dongle. Charged it to 100%, didn’t use my PC for 5 days with the mouse switched off, came back and the battery was completely flat. They recommended a mouse reset and a complete reinstall of Core 1.0.

Battery issue persisted after all of this. Since it’s within 45 days, I requested a full refund.

Honestly, I’m not impressed with the State of Glorious right now.

That is extremely depressing to hear.
These issues of battery drain have been an unresolvable plague since the launch of the I2.

I am glad that you were able to get a full refund.

Maybe we will see workable software and firmware that doesn’t bring their hardware to it’s knees someday.

it’s so sad to see these software issues, the mouse look and feel good and lightweight. :frowning:
