I’ve been having this problem for the past like 2 years ish and couldn’t get a new mouse because they said to prove that it was broken when it happened randomly back then, but now whenever I quickly move my mouse around it just disconnects and takes half a second to come back. Of course now its out of warranty so I can’t send it back for repairs or whatever. Any ideas on how to fix it? (yes I have reinstalled the model D software and I’ve tried with a low polling rate but nothing fixed it)
ok uh while it was still pending I may or may not have found a semi-solution. While looking at different forum posts I found one that related to my issue and tried what they found fixed it. They cleaned off the USB part of the mouse (they used glasses cleaner and water or something like that while I just blew in it like a cartridge) but that so far, has completely fixed it.
TLDR: If your mouse disconnects when you move it fast (or just randomly disconnects) try cleaning the USB. (blow on it like a cartridge)
