Key Caps

Im really into RGB and when i got my GMMK Pro i just went with the standard white key caps from Glorious. However No light comes out of them at all. Could someone pls give me so good idea on white keycaps that you can see the RGB through pretty well

Look at the Glorious Aura Keycaps v2 in White. They should produce a lot of RGB for you.

I have multiple sets of the Aura caps. A couple in white, and one in black. Definitely the best option for RGB.

Flashquark has some PBT doubleshot side print backlit caps. But they are only in a 104 key set so you would at a minimum need to find a 1.75u right Shift. And then you would have to substitute some numberpad keys for the 1u modifiers. Alternatively, you could try some translucent Polycarb caps. I know you can find sets on AliExpress or from MaxKeyboard.

Here is the aura key caps they are dope!

I have a set of the translucent keys from MaxKeyboard as well, but haven’t tried them on an RGB keyboard yet. The quality is ok on them, but the Aura caps are definitely nicer and easier to read too.

there are lots of options posted in the gmmk pro post! heres my drop artifact bloom glow series caps!

I like the look of the aura but these are something else. I’m jealous every time I see them.

IMO with the GMMK pro it is difficult to find keycaps that will shine through well as most are designed with North Facing switches in mind while the GMMK pro is using South Facing switches. Even the Aura Keycaps don’t perfectly shine through although you can still see it and it still shines on the bottom underglow. This effect is heavily based on environment. If you are in a dark or dim room it should look completely fine but if you are in a well lit room it would look a bit off and it can be difficult to get the RGB effects to shine through in a studio lit room.
