Introducing the Glorious V3 Mice!

I’ve just got it today and been using it for a few hours. There are a few things I do have as feedback.
First, I really like the different design and love the swappable batteries. I also am so happy that you have another internal battery so the mouse doesn’t turn off while changing the batteries. I have the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, which have the swappable batteries on the headphones and I hate that after putting in the new batteries I have to wait about 15 seconds for them to turn on and reconnect. So great QoL feature to have on the mouse.

As for things I think could be improved, here’s a quick list.
Battery Color
The orange is a nice color and ties in with the brand. However, I could see this becoming a bit of a problem with people who like their mice to look ‘discreet’. Just like people don’t like mice with a bunch of RGB, they might not like the bold color popping out from the back of their mice. I don’t see an option to buy the batteries standalone on the site (which I think should be an option in case they get lost). If they are sold separately I think having black and white battery options could be a great benefit.

Scroll Wheel
Not sure if this is intentional, but the scroll wheel always has to have one ‘click’ before reading the scroll. So instead of doing a small adjustment to scroll down on a page, I have to scroll two times for what on other mice would be instant. If this is intentional I do think that having a way to configure this in the Core software would be great. I personally don’t like it when browsing the web but could see a use for it in a game like Valorant.
[EDIT]
After a couple days of use it’s become normal. It seems to no longer require a ‘click’ in either direction for the scroll to work.

Lighting
I love the approach y’all took to the lighting. My only critique is that it almost seems to be missing a couple lights just a tad further to the front. The light just seems to fade out super quickly near the front. Not a big issue but something I noticed.
A bigger issue does seem to be that I cannot change the power of the light. It’s either on or off. Changing the brightness value does not do anything. The battery packs have been only lasting a little over a day at a time and I’m not sure if it’s because of it being forced at 100% or if they just don’t have that much charge in them, but this has been bothersome and ties into the next problem.

Software
The software initially seemed to be working just fine. I got my settings dialed in and was using the mouse. However, it’s stopped allowing edits of the mouse performance page. I’ll make a change and try to save it to the mouse and it just doesn’t do anything. It has become very random about whether a change will or won’t be able to be saved.

I’ll be making a video about these and it’ll probably be more clear when I have visual examples.
