Can’t wait to see what the Pro mice offer! D3 Pro might bring me back to Glorious mice ![]()
What I’d like to see from the Pro mice:
- No RGB
- Lower weight (<60g)
- Onboard programming (ex: Xlite V3 eS, Outset AX, EC2-DW)
I’ve been using a Pulsar Xlite V3 eS as my main for a while now, and it’s SO freeing to have no peripheral software on my PC. I just press some buttons on the underside of the mouse and forget all about it, and my custom keyboard uses the VIA web interface. There’s no fuss over settings getting messed up or keeping the software updated.
I know a lot of effort has been put into CORE, but many people still have a negative view of it and I think offering onboard programming would draw in a lot of interest, especially from people who have written off Glorious mice because of CORE.
Lower weight is a must. It’s 2025 and 66-69g is absolutely not “ultralight” like the marketing says. I’m sure there is a way to improve the battery swap system to shave off a few grams, and obviously removing the RGB will help with this, too.
