How to set time-out. Beginner

Dear Glorious fanatics,

I just got my first board, a GMMK 3 MX, and I have this simple question. How do I turn off the lights time-out or make it longer? I thought I saw a setting somewhere, but I cannot find it in Core. Or is that windows-controlled?

Thanks for any tips,
Dr. Scarlett

I don’t think that feature is in the Core software any more with latest update. I looked under my GMMK 3 Pro HE and I’m not seeing that feature under the lighting section of the software.

I would contact Customer Support, if you haven’t gotten an answer elsewhere.

Hi Tecmo, thank you, i did that. With thanks to “Phoenix” from Glorious support:

Changing the RGB sleep mode of the keyboard requires the Global Standby feature in CORE. With CORE 2.1.6, we actually temporarily disabled / removed the feature, since it was not working as intended. Our Dev team is working hard on fixing and restoring the feature via one of our upcoming updates. I suggest you bookmark our development changelog page - it will help you know everything about the software and firmware updates that we are releasing: link to changelog

Hi Guru’s and Glorious peoples,
We just had an update to 2.1.9. I was hoping very much the feature might return, because the visibility of my keys depends on the lighting being on or at least not dimming after a few minutes. I can’t see my keys anymore when that happens, with the way I configured the board (which I love).

Is there any way you might give me a sneak peek of your roadmap, or a rough, non-committal estimate when the feature will return, or maybe in which version?

Thanks in advance for anything you can share on the topic!
Dr. Scarlett
