Gmmk numpad slider and dial

GMMK Numpad – Slider & Dial Not Registering Input on Any System (Detailed Findings Included)
Hello Glorious Support Team,
I hope you’re doing well.
I’m reaching out regarding the GMMK Numpad, which I’ve now tested extensively across two units and two different Windows 11 machines. I want to provide a clear, concise summary of the behavior so we can isolate the issue as efficiently as possible.
Summary of the Issue
Across both Numpads and both Windows systems:
The slider produces no HID input events whatsoever (mouse, keyboard, or consumer control).
The dial only controls system volume, regardless of the setting selected in Glorious CORE.
CORE settings for both the slider and dial do not apply or change behavior.
Reprogramming, resetting, disabling, or changing profiles does not alter functionality.
Because the behavior is identical on two separate numpads and two unrelated PCs, it appears to be firmware-level rather than a hardware or OS configuration issue.
Systems Tested
Windows 11 Pro, build 26200.7171 (Ark Rig)
Windows 11 Pro, build 26200.7171 (Zephyrus laptop)
Both systems have:
Latest CORE software
Latest firmware (device came pre-flashed)
Updated chipset, audio, and USB drivers
Troubleshooting Performed
Software
:check_mark: Reinstalled CORE cleanly (including manual deletion of profiles)
:check_mark: Reinstalled firmware
:check_mark: Disabled exclusive mode in audio settings
:check_mark: Tried all slider/dial assignments
:check_mark: Disabled all reassignments → still no slider input
:check_mark: Set to “Mouse Wheel Up/Down” → no functionality
:check_mark: Verified Windows detects no slider movement in Raw Input / Event Viewer
Hardware
:check_mark: Tested both numpads on both machines
:check_mark: Tested all USB ports (2.0/3.0/3.2)
:check_mark: Verified correct HID devices in Device Manager
:check_mark: Identified the two HID entries corresponding to the numpad
:check_mark: Checked for input events via Device Manager → none
:check_mark: Verified NumLock, keyboard mode, calculator mode, etc.
Findings
The dial does send HID events (but only as system volume).
The slider sends zero events, even in raw diagnostic tools.
CORE’s settings do not modify behavior, suggesting the firmware is not exposing remappable endpoints for the dial/slider.

Anyone have an idea on how to resolve this?

Hi @llathander, welcome to the forum!
So the Glorious Guild isnt exactly a substitute for contacting support. We can off some basic troubleshooting suggestions but it looks like you’ve already been pretty thorough in the steps you’ve taken to fix the issue.
I would highly recommend reaching out to Glorious Support and putting a ticket in with the support team. Hope they are able to help get the issue resolved!
