Okay, so I had this problem, too. Make sure that “Automatically Launch Core on PC Start Up” is not selected. That’s the only way I’ve gotten it not to launch front and center.
I was having a problem with having the “Launch Core minimized by default” and the “Automatically launch Core on PC startup” both deselected, and it was still popping up. The solution above is the only way I’ve found to prevent it from being right in my face at startup.
Thanks for taking a moment to post this suggestion! I’ve altered my copy of the app accordingly. It’s a real shame that Glorious hasn’t released an update that addresses this issue.
I’m having the same issues with Core 2.1. Keybindings aren’t working, and the Numpad’s rotary wheel and slider are unresponsive. I’ve tried resetting keybindings, running the software as an admin, and reconnecting the Numpad, but nothing’s worked. If there’s a broken screen, it could be affecting input. I might contact Glorious support if this persists.
Ya know, I’ve avoided Core 2 for the longest time and my custom GMMK 3 came in yesterday (finally) and I was like, ''what the heck let’s try it". I like the look of it and it’s smooth. I don’t do anything special to my board, on my previous GMMKs and other custom keebs I usually have one color going for the RGB and don’t really mess with the effects; if I do, I’ve always just used the keys for all that. But the fact that I couldn’t bind my Model I 2 buttons to whatever I wanted like in Core 1 made me immediately uninstall it and put Core 1 back on my PC lol.
