DPI Colour shift Model D2 (wired)

Hey!

Just got the Model D2 (wired) today. Updated the firmware and the GC software. I noticed when I press “save to mouse” in the DPI settings, the red DPI led indicator on the bottomside of the mouse, changes from red to light pink.

It stays pink, even if I reset the profile. Or delete the colored DPI settings. It isn’t a hardware issue. On profile 3 the standard DPI 1600 is red. And it was red on the other 2 profiles, until I hit “save to mouse”. It is irreversible it seems.

What bothers me is the light tone. It’s not that big of a deall, just wished it stayed red, or that I could at least determine the color myself. I wish to experiment with certain DPI numbers, to set at least 3 different ones. At a quick glance to see at what profile I currently am, it’s not so easy to distinguish between the colors because the pink tone is quite bright. Hope that makes sense ;).

Has anyone a solution ready? Or a similar experience?

It would appear that this is a known issue that others have experienced.

I’ve seen a few other people mention some RGB drift with the settings and red seems to be the most common.
