One thing I can never really find in mouse reviews is the actual volume of the mouse clicks. I am currently using a Razer Death Adder V3 Pro and I don’t really have any qualms about it except when it comes to streaming. It has the loudest clicks of any mouse I have ever used and it drives me crazy when I’m editing videos or watching a VOD. I’ve had to accept that I’m going to use silent switches on my keyboard, and that works quite well, but I’d really like a similar mouse (optical, good sensor, ergo shape) that’s just… quieter. I have an older Model D and that is a bit higher pitched, but otherwise quite a bit quieter. Is the D3 more like that? Even quieter? How are people feeling about it generally? I’ve heard battery life isn’t the best, though I’d probably just turn off the lighting anyway. What about waking from sleep? The Model D I have takes a split second whereas the Razer is virtually instant. Been out of the game for a while and just seeing how things have evolved over time.
