D2 Wireless Mouse No Sleep after inactivity?

As the title suggests, does this mouse not go to sleep after being inactive for any amount of time?

I believe the mouse is fully charged after having it charging for an entire 18hrs but can’t verify because the software is REALLY bad at syncing the actual charge. As well as having the RGB turned off and at 1000hz polling rate. After unplugging it and gaming for a bit, I leave the mouse alone for about a day I come back and its almost always dead. I am super close in returning this mouse because why should I have to remember to flip a switch every time I am done using the mouse. I feel like this is a super basic feature that every single other brand of mice I have used had (Corsair, Logi, and Razer).

I like the feel of the mouse a lot but this is so annoying and even is no where near the expected battery life .

Hi @Darklight1021!
I hate to hear you’re having issues with your D2, so lets see if we can make a few suggestions to get you back up and running (or sleeping in this case).
Firstly, I always recommend reaching out to Glorious Support for troubleshooting help since they are much better at it than we are here on the forum.

If you haven’t already, double check the sleep mode or idle timer in the settings in CORE. If I remember right, that is under the power management or performance tab.

If that doesn’t work, my only other suggestion is to update CORE if you haven’t in a while or completely uninstall and re-install CORE.

Totally understand how annoying this is and I hope this helps!
