Hello!
I have a Model D Minus. If it runs out of battery, and I plug it in to charge, the mouse will not work for several minutes. Specifically:
- It runs out of battery and will not turn on when flipping the switch on the underside. This is normal.
- I plug it in, there are 2 brief yellow LED blinks on the LED on the underside of the mouse.
- I can VERY BRIEFLY move the pointer right after plugging it in, for maybe half a second, then it stops moving and the mouse becomes unresponsive.
- I charge it for a 3-5 minutes, and it still won’t work/turn on, despite me flipping the switch.
- This will keep happening if I unplug/re-plug the mouse from the USB-C power. It will remain unresponsive either way except for that brief 1/2 second that it moves right after plugging it in.
- After a few minutes of charging, it will remain asleep despite me flipping the switch. If I unplug it, it “wakes up,” and I can use it normally.
- I plug it back in to keep charging it, and I can use it normally.
So basically, if it dies, I have to plug it in and let it charge for several minutes and during this time it’s completely unresponsive, then I have to UNPLUG it to wake it up, then I can plug it back in and let it charge while using it.
Is this normal? When the batteries die on other rechargeable mice I’ve used, once I plug the mouse in, I can use it in moments. This one has to charge for several minutes, and is unusable during that time. Is this part of the design?
Thanks!
