Update through CORE (2.1.7) worked great.
I did notice a big installer size increase between 2.1.7 (165MB) and 2.1.8 (507MB), where does that come from?

  1. You cannot see which profile you are if you are playing with settings
  2. DPI color RED is PINK beneath the mouse
  3. Battery shows always 100%

What i have is: Model I 2 wireless

+1 for points 2 and 3. Had those issues also with 2.1.7
Red RGB on the mouse look like orange to me.

@GloriousViking and @MY38 - really appreciate your questions and feedback!! I checked with our engineering team regarding some of your questions:

  • Bigger installer size - We do our best to manage the size of the install file required, and as we continue to refine CORE we will be working on this.
  • Cannot see profile when in settings - this is great UI feedback! We shared with our UI/UX team and will work on updating this in future releases
  • DPI color - Appreciate the feedback here! The consistency of color output is something our engineering and quality teams are working on improving.
  • Battery always shows 100% - We’ve caught this happening on some mice models and are working on fixing this in the next release.

Also noticed couple things:

  1. Want to choose my own color with DPI
  2. Selecting profile is very difficult because the box is to small and to slow
  3. Firmware update is not working correctly. For example if i am wirelessly connected it says, waiting for USB and vice versa with USB
  4. Maybe handy. If you want to update the core app and check for update, it doesnt let you know if you are updated or not
  5. A 3D model of the device will help which button you are configuring (Model I 2 wireless)
  6. Maybe more lightning effects?

one thing I’ve noticed with Core 2 and my Model I 2 wireless is that the mouse will random invert left and right movement so one second I’m moving the mouse right and the cursor goes right and then it starts going left and same with left going right. So weird.

Hey there, sorry to hear this is happening! What are your current DPI and polling rate settings? I’m working with our dev team to see if we can replicate the issue and fix the problem.

Well I have the GMMK Numpad. The volume slider stopped working. Updated from Core 216 to 219. Then the scroll wheel stopped working as well. Wish i could just dispose of that part of the numpad, it is wholly functionless at the moment. Atleast the numpad part still works
