I read elsewhere that a detachable cable was added to the GMMK 2, but that inventory is mixed between the two versions, so it is a crapshoot as to which you will get when ordering. Is this still true? It seems to me you are removing one of the key pieces of customization by making the cord permanent.
i dont think any of the GMMK keyboards have a permanent cable on them?
you are probably mistaken with when they switched to the type c plugs i am thinking.
I believe the OG full-size GMMK had a permanent cable, the rest were detachable

Yes, my model of the GMMK full-size has a permanent usb cord that isn’t detachable. The TKL and smaller has removable cords.

I agree this is weird. My bigger concern is the different app than the mouse.
