Haven’t done much yet but I put on switch pads, put in GS2 stabs, and some blue accent keys from the first set of caps I ever bought.

@igadgetgeek What kind of wrist rest is that? Is it comfy? I like the look.
The wooden glorious rest. They do look nice. I have the gel foam one, it’s nice too, but the wood is clean and classy.

A friend of mine was interested in a custom keyboard, but basically explained he doesn’t have the patience to do it. Last month, he was in the hospital and I almost lost a good friend. So I finished up a “get well soon” care package I’m sending him.

(lower housing and pom lubed with tribosys 3203, springs with krytox 205g0)
key caps: GMK Red Samurai
(added dampeners to the stems)
cable: Red Samurai DROP coiled cable
desk mat: DROP + Marvel collaboration Iron Man desk mat
My friend is a HUGE Iron Man and Transformers fan (also a graduate from FSU). So I’m hoping this cheers him up.
I know some people are going to ask “why didnt you get the DROP +Marvel collaboration caps then?” He saw those a ways back and went into great detail about how horrible the colors were.

I’ve only got a handful of good friends left and he is by far the best of them. Also hoping that this helps sweeten the deal we made about him going on a diet and losing some weight.

I wish him the best of luck. It’s a hard road. But with good friends to support the process, it’s definitely achievable. I lost a chunk of weight about a decade ago and had some friends who were there cheering me on.
Thanks for being who you are. Might sound silly, but friends like you are a rare find. I hope he sees that too.

Package was delivered and for anyone who wanted to know what my friend thought of the contents.
Apologies for the language used, but he seems pretty happy with everything. The mouse I included in the package was a Model-I, since I know he prefers mice with a few extra side buttons.
